The individual must work in a prearranged full-time or part-time job for a US employer.
Initial stay in US up to 3 years and may request an extension of stay.
Spouse and unmarried children under age 21 may receive a nonimmigrant visa to accompany or follow to join the TN immigrant. The TN worker’s spouse and unmarried children under age 21 are not eligible for employment.
To be eligible for TN status, the individual must work in the US in only TN authorized positions.
